From my journal I write in on the bus. Tuesday told me I can write cliches if i want to.
At first he hadn't been able to process what he was seeing, his brain screamed and tried to hide from the horror before his eyes. Then he noticed an arm, a shoulder, a bit of hair over there, and he covered his mouth and looked away from the scene.
John was a junior investigator, next in line for judge though, and had certainly seen a great many murders. This wasn't just a murder. The bodies, for he saw three hands before looking away, were ripped limb from limb in a bloody pile. One weaver, one dancer he supposed.
Evan cleared his throat and John looked up, staring at the other weaver. "What happened here?"
"This is why we never tell our dancers they could be weavers also." He said, staring at the scene with haunted eyes.
John continued to avoid looking in the direction. "A dancer did this? But...who drew the power for the spell?"
"Dancers don't need anyone to draw power for them. They can dance and weave alone. Given the relative instability of most dancers....if they knew..."
"That could be catastrophic."
"Never tell John, never tell anyone. Tell Maya it was an animal attack."
John ran his hand back through his hair in a nervous gesture and nodded.

Sure it seems like whining but I seriously had no energy to even build up the drive to write.
Right now I have the drive to write but damned if I know where the energy is. That's still hiding from me.
I've got a character acting up in my mind and dreams nicknamed Tech. I'm still trying to figure out of said character is male or female. I keep thinking female but then...hm. Anyway. Ask me about these characters if you want. It'll help sort out the tangled dream bits.
Not dead, updates are few, but I do visit and maintain the site.
Right now I have the drive to write but damned if I know where the energy is. That's still hiding from me.
